Editorial Standards
Sourcing
Every claim that affects a buying decision is traceable to a primary source — a peer-reviewed paper, a regulatory document, a public company filing, a recognized industry standard, or an on-the-record interview with an identified expert. When a primary source is not available, we say so.
Fact-checking
Quantitative claims (cycle times, yields, prices, capacities, emissions factors) are reviewed against at least two independent sources where possible. Disagreements between sources are reported rather than averaged away.
Independence
Editorial coverage cannot be purchased. Sponsors do not preview or approve our editorial work. Reporters do not hold equity or paid advisory positions in companies they cover; any unavoidable conflict is disclosed at the top of the article.
Corrections
Errors are corrected on the original page within one business day of verification, with a dated correction note appended at the bottom. Material corrections are also noted in the next newsletter issue.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and editing. Every article is reviewed and edited by a human editor before publication. We do not publish AI-generated images of real people. We do not generate fictitious quotes or statistics.
Anonymous sources
We grant anonymity only when a source faces a credible professional or legal risk and the information cannot be obtained on the record. We explain why anonymity was granted in the article.
