Hemp plastic materials for your project.
Hemp-filled biocomposites and bioplastics designed to replace the resins you already mold. Every spec here comes straight from the manufacturer’s own published information — with technical data sheets linked where available, so you can check the source yourself.
Hemp Polypropylene (PP)
H25CPP1 and H25CPP8 are 25% hemp-filled polypropylenes, designed as replacements for virgin polypropylene in injection-molding applications. Natural color is medium brown; supplied pelletized.
Hemp Polyethylene (HDPE)
H25CHDPE1 is a 25% hemp-filled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), designed as a replacement for virgin polyethylene in injection-molding applications. Natural color is medium brown; supplied pelletized.
Hemp ABS
H25CABS1 is a 25% hemp-filled acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), designed as a replacement for virgin ABS in injection-molding applications. Natural color is medium brown; supplied pelletized.
HempBlack Polymer (eco6)
HempBlack Polymer is a polymer compound produced by eco6 using their patented Hemp Black activated carbon technology — a bio-based, non-carcinogenic alternative to petroleum-derived carbon black. The compound integrates Hemp Black into a polymer matrix via masterbatch and polymerization processes, targeting automotive, electronics, and industrial applications. Full technical specifications are pending.
Hemp Black (eco6)
Hemp Black / eco6 is a bio-based activated carbon pigment produced from hemp hurd — the woody core of the hemp stalk, which accounts for 65% of the plant's weight. Through a patented bio-charring process, eco6 carbonizes the hurd at high temperatures to yield a lightweight, low-density activated carbon powder. It is a drop-in alternative to petroleum-based carbon black across masterbatch & polymerization, printing & pigmentation, electronics, automotive, beauty, medical, and reinforcing agent applications. Technical specs: BET surface area 314.56 m²/g; pore size >2.1 nm; oil absorption 76 cm³/100g; pH 10.08. Hemp Black previously held a Cradle to Cradle Platinum Material Health Certificate (expired Dec 2021) and a Silver certificate (expired June 2024).
Hemp PLA
Hemp PLA is a 100% plant-based, commercially compostable polylactic acid resin blended with 25% hemp content, designed as a replacement for virgin PLA in injection-molding applications. Natural color is medium brown; supplied pelletized.
